I stayed with Chris and Joyce Shaw in Whitehaven. We visited a few different lakes in the Lake District and a couple beaches. I had a wonderful time being in a home with a family environment especially with a dog.

This is Phillip Wickeden. He has played fiddle outside the Roman Baths everyday from 2-3PM for the last ten years. About six years ago, he got tired of his guitarist being unreliable, so he built his "BandIt" ("its a band, i'nt'it?") to accompany him while he plays. The endeavor took him three years. He says he gets a lots of tips because of the odd machine, and he often sells DVDs of his playing to the crowd. (Bath Field Trip)
